Should a review of the current contract and procedures with Aragon Direct Services and other contractors take place to stop this practice in the future?

Fly tipping is collected by Aragon Direct Services, but in many instances, debris is sometimes left behind. This then requires more reporting by the public and another visit to

collect the remains.

A question was raised by a member of the public to the council about the cleaning of drains on streets and highways, given that it appears that many such drains are showing signs of blockage through litter and vegetation growth.

The IRC recommend a radical reform of the use and location of Public Waste Bins across Peterborough. There are many places where public bins are either not used, overflowing or missing. This is general feedback from volunteer litter picking groups and individuals.
