The Independent Review Committee (IRC) on DEBRIS

Welcome to the team! We value your commitment as local volunteers and want to ensure that everyone is aware of our privacy policy. This policy is crucial for safeguarding the information of both individual members and the entire IRC community. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to maintain a secure environment.
Membership
IRC will from time to time collect Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:
1. To enable memberships to be created as part of group activity.

2. To be able to contact our IRC members or those who contact the IRC and provide information related to DEBRIS such as Litter or Fly-tipping.

3. To enable IRC to build data for the sole purpose of justifying and validate issues and policies adopted by local authorities.

4. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
If you contact the IRC by message or complete any on-line form the data is then stored under the Wix database. Such data is secure and managed by the IRC Administrator who may extract any such data to produce IRC Reports. Such reports will not divulge the identity of any individual by redacting any names or contact details.
IRC may contact you as a member of IRC via the Group page where you can raise comments and attach files as a member. Any such comments or uploads that are not appropriate or relative to the subject of DEBRIS will be removed and as such the member will be notified accordingly.
By becoming a IRC member using the website Membership page you accept this PRIVACY policy and are subject to the protection under the GDPR and Privacy act. If you choose not to agree to the PRIVACY policy as laid out above then the IRC has the right to withdraw your membership and all access to the Group page of the website.
