GBSC Awareness - “Peterborough Volunteers are Clean Up Our Community” Peterborough’s community spirit is shining through again with the outstanding work of volunteer groups like the Peterborough Litter Wombles (PLW) and other volunteer groups. Since 2021, PLW volunteers, inspired by Keep Britain Tidy, have collected over 14,000 bags of litter, with over 5,000 just last year. Alongside clearing bulky fly-tipped waste, they’ve transformed parks, pathways, and cycle routes. PLW
